How to search?

Type a word, a part of a word or a word string in the search box. Wildcards: "." for any character and .* for any string of characters are allowed. Lexico-grammatical query finds all forms of a lemma or all realisations of a grammatical category.

For example:

  • pociągiem - only the form pociągiem will be found.
  • pociągiem z – e.g. pociągiem z Moskwy, pociągiem z Frankfurtu.
  • pocią.* - e.g. pociąg, pociągiem, pociągnęła, pociąć.
  • pocią. - e.g. pociąg, pociąć.

It is possible to search simultaneously in both languages, e.g. Polish kolega and Russian друг.

Type a lemma (lexical entry) in the lexical search box, e.g. koło in order to find all forms of the word: koło, kołem, kole, kołach etc.

In the grammatical search choose grammatical categories, eg. a neutral noun in locative plural. We find e.g. kołach, oknach, dzieciach.

The grammatical forms in Polish text have been disambiguated, i.e. when searching for a lemma dama (lady we get the character string dam only as a genitive plural of dama, no as the first pers. praesens sg. of the verb dać. The Russian text has not been disambiguated, thus every character string дам in the text represents by default both lemmas: дама i дать.
